Confirmed Service Customer
The service advisor did not respond to my text message and phone calls. It took another phone call later in the day and your operator paging him before I could speak to him- only to learn the recommended alignment hadn’t been done. While you did expedite that work, you had my Tahoe the entire day (dropped off at 730a and picked up around 600p) for an oil change, rotation and alignment. Even when my truck was ready, I still had to remove the plastic covers and paper mat which only added to my poor experience. I’ve been loyal to Dimmitt Service from the day I purchased my Tahoe in 2018. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, customer service and attention to detail has me looking elsewhere.

The detailing of my Colorado wasn't the best. There was preservative applied to the plastic black parts or the floor mats. Polish was left in the crevasses of the body. I was disappointed in the quality. This was far inferior to the last time Dimmitt detailed my Colorado

On 4-25-24, I brought my vehicle in for regular service. I was greeted promptly and introduced to my service writer, James. Upon entering Service Lane, all vehicles must pass over Tire Check and Alignment Scope, my vehicle showed to be in need of an alignment. James showed me readings of some abnormal tire wear. The text video that was sent to me, only showed a cartoon about the importance of proper alignment. It did not show any angle degree readings of any of the wheels, (caster-camber or toe in or out). I did agree to doing the alignment. Upon completion of service, I asked if there was a print out that would show what adjustments were made with before and after readings. I was advised that there were not, but all adjustment settings were included in final maint. report to Gen. Motors. I feel that any repairs such as these, should have a final copy (be it paper or electronic) that owner may retain for own records.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed this time, which I will consider the circumstances explained to me by my Service Writer, and treat this as an isolated case. I have also had a good experience with the service team but being short handed, they should have been upfront with me and say it would be longer than normal! I was confused why after 3 hours I was still waiting. I was getting annoyed after 3 hours and then having to seek out an explanation because no one communicated with me. I found out at the end after 4 1/2 hours that one Tech was working on 2 vehicles at the same time, and he was unaware I was waiting in the lounge! I look forward to my next service where I will return and use my free OLF card.

We're very happy with our recent visit to Dimmitt Service for our Trailblazer. It was easy to make an appointment and I love the fact that I receive texts and emails reminding me of the appointment. I need those! In addition, the reminders are very detailed and helpful. I also love the fact that the technician himself sent an email introducing himself and advising that he would be caring for our vehicle. The communication process is outstanding! The time that the vehicle was in for maintenance seemed very fair in the sense that a special part had to be ordered and installed, and that was in addition to the main reason that the vehicle was there. In one of the texts, there was an option to check on the health of your vehicle, and my only suggestion for improvement would have been to see what was actually happening during maintenance. Maybe it was there and I didn't find it. Overall, the experience was outstanding as usual, and we are very happy to have the option to bring our vehicle to Dimmitt for service.
